T.R. Electronics, LLC started in 1996 as a computer consulting service to small businesses in Salinas, CA. In September 2003, the company moved from consulting to developing solutions and "Choices" for Small Businesses. Using the broadband server/gateway concept. The core idea was to develop a Linux Small Business Server Appliance that simplifies the components and robustness with the power to overcome common daily challenges from the outside world.

In 2001 TR Electronics decided to change paths and began focusing on research and development as well as commercial consulting and business services. With this change, TREISP was formed and moved in to to provide residential as well as small networking solutions. Now they work in unison. TREISP providing "quick" services (solutions and support) to residential and small networks, and TR Electronics consulting and providing solutions, development, and support for larger commercial accounts.
